THE ROLE

Are you ready to redefine the developer experience Were building a new team focused on accelerating innovation by creating a fun rewarding and highly efficient developer ecosystem. As a Platform Build Engineer you will be instrumental in designing automating and optimizing the next generation of our multi-platform CI/CD pipelines directly impacting our products reliability and speed to market. This high-impact role requires deep technical expertise and strong collaboration with our global engineering teams to deliver a world-class build and release environment.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Lead the design implementation and optimization of robust multi-platform automated build and release pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions to dramatically improve developer productivity.

• Drive down build and test times through strategic use of caching parallelization and containerization (Docker Kubernetes) to ensure rapid and repeatable software delivery cycles.

• Establish and enforce best practices for version control (Git branching strategies) dependency management and artifact management (Nexus Artifactory) to ensure software reproducibility and traceability across all releases.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the entire build packaging and deployment workflow applying strong expertise in scripting (GoLang Python Shell) and configuration management.

• Integrate and expand monitoring and observability (e.g. Grafana Prometheus ELK) within the build infrastructure to proactively identify bottlenecks and ensure system reliability and performance.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep hands-on expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines specifically with tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

• Exceptional proficiency with a variety of modern build systems (e.g. Maven Gradle Bazel CMake) and advanced Git features including complex branching strategies and submodules.

• Strong practical skills in multiple scripting and automation languages such as GoLang Python Bash or Groovy applied to infrastructure and workflow automation.

• Proven ability to work with and optimize environments using containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) for reproducible builds and deployment.

• Expertise in artifact management (e.g. Nexus Artifactory) and a solid understanding of configuration management principles.

• A collaborative mindset focused on reliability continuous improvement and a track record of strengthening team productivity and delivery speed.

• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
