Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their team of staff in theNursing department.

This is a Full time role for 35 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver person-centred care including assisting with personal hygiene nutrition mobility toileting and emotional support.
• Carry out basic clinical tasks such as monitoring vital signs blood glucose levels and patient observations (following training and competency).
• Assist with clinical procedures and the preparation of equipment and materials.
• Act as a role model and mentor to junior healthcare assistants supporting their development and integration into the team.
• Ensure a clean well-stocked and organised clinical area that supports effective care delivery.
• Accurately record care provided and observations in line with organisational and legal requirements.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification/experience).
• Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Ability to carry out delegated clinical tasks safely and confidently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support and supervise junior staff members.
