The Opportunity:
We are hiring a PreOP/PACU Registered Nurse for our Surgical Services Float Pool this position you will work with various conditions procedures and acuity levels. Our Plaza location is a Magnet Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center. Shift Details:
We are proud to offer differential wage rates for this Float Pool position. You will have the opportunity to float to Saint Lukes Hospital Saint Lukes East Saint Lukes North and Saint Lukes South.
Hours of shift may vary between 8 10 or 12 hours based on organizational needs. Schedules are written 8 10 weeks in advance.
The Work:
- Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Delegates tasks appropriately.
- Identifies hospital resources.
- Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
- Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

Applicable Experience:
2 years
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
Associate Degree
