About the Opportunity

As a Retail Standards Specialist located in Townsville or MacKay youll champion quality compliance and operational excellence across the state. Youll be the key link between national programs and store-level execution helping retailers meet Metcash Channel Standards Operational Excellence Programs (OEP) and Food Safety Audit (FSA) requirements.

In this Role

Conduct in-store reviews to assess compliance with Channel Standards OEP and FSA
Provide coaching and training to uplift retailer capability and compliance
Support stores in adopting compliance systems like REFFS
Collaborate with Account Managers and Retail Excellence Manager to identify and address systemic risks
Manage store closures and de-banners as needed
Coordinate retailer participation in events and programs
Ensure catalogue standards are met (distribution ticketing stock)
Capture store-level insights to support planning and continuous improvement

You understand food safety frameworks and channel standards
Youre detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
