FAMILY and HEALTH SERVICES ASSISTANT

The Family and Health Services Assistant provides administrative and program support to the Family and Health Services teams assisting with the daily operations of family engagement health and nutrition services across Head Start Early Head Start and ECEAP programs. This role supports staff in implementing policies and procedures completing accurate data entry and maintaining compliance with all family health and nutrition standards. The position also assists with file management data collection and reporting and facilitates communication between centers and program teams to ensure coordinated and effective services for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of family engagement health and nutrition services across all program sites.
  • Monitor compliance with established policies procedures and program standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
  • Maintain organized up-to-date family and health files in compliance with licensing and performance standards.
  • Communicate regularly with center staff regarding documentation compliance and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with program teams to analyze and use data to inform program improvement.
  • Assist in coordinating health screenings family engagement initiatives and community resource connections.
  • Support staff in implementing best practices in family and health services.


Required Education and Experience:

  • 2 years relevant experience in social work human services family services counseling or a related field OR a combination of College and Experience
  • High School/GED
  • Intermediate level computer skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Details:

  • 40hr per week for 52 weeks per year
  • Wage is $19.60 per hour for qualified applicant
