What you will do
You will be responsible for identifying assessing and managing non-financial risks within Daily Banking & Mobile Led. You act as a connecting link between the business and central departments such as Compliance ODCR ORM CAS Legal and the Privacy Office. You ensure that risks are identified in a timely manner and that appropriate mitigating measures are taken. Its a challenging role due to the wide range of topics involved. DB&ML is responsible for several major product groups (e.g. Current Accounts and Savings) as well as Onboarding In-life Financial Health and Catalogue Rates & Fees. It also includes our own network of branches and ISPs.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement NFR policy within Daily Banking
- Proactively advise management on risks and compliance issues
- Coordinate audits reviews and risk assessments
- Collaborate with central departments and stakeholders at headquarters
- Identify trends and risks in customer behavior processes and regulations
- Support senior management in promoting a strong risk culture within the organization
Who you are
- You have at least 7 years of relevant work experience within ING and/or in Non-Financial Risk
- You know the business inside out and can translate risks into practical solutions
- You have a strong network within ING especially with departments like Compliance ODCR ORM CAS Legal the Privacy Office and Group
- Preferably you have knowledge of the branch organization (our network of branches and ISPs)
- You are capable of supporting and challenging senior managers in strengthening risk awareness and ownership
- You are analytical persuasive and able to bring others along with your vision
- You have excellent communication skills and can make an impact at various levels
- You are a team player creative open-minded and curious but also firm and stand by your convictions
