Are you a science-savvy professional with a passion for footwear and product testing
Were looking for a Technologist to join a leading industry organisation helping ensure products meet compliance standards sharing knowledge with customers and supporting innovation across the business.
What Youll Do
- Collaborate with customers to discuss testing results and new projects.
- Draft technical reports and respond to customer queries via email.
- Deliver seminars webinars and customer presentations to showcase expertise.
- Follow Quality System and Health & Safety procedures.
- Support technician development and deliver training programmes.
- Contribute to internal and external technical publications.
- Take part in customer visits and promotional activities.
What Were Looking For
Essential:
- Degree in Materials Science another core science or Mathematics.
- Experience with physical testing techniques.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Customer-facing experience and confident presentation abilities.
- Excellent time management and computer skills (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated with strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel.
Desirable:
- Completion of or working towards SAFT course.
- Footwear industry experience.
- Direct sales or business development experience.
- Full clean driving licence.
