Sr. Associate Program Manager Students & Grads Specialty Programs

We are looking for an exceptional associate with an HR-oriented mindset to support the overall program experience including that of new hires people leaders business stakeholders and program order to be successful in the role the associate must be a positive solutions and customer-oriented problem solver with a proven track record of strong communication prioritization and project management skills.

Core responsibilities will vary but may include:

Enthusiastically build and manage relationships with associates managers and other partners across a range of levels business functions and geographies
This may involve flexible working hours and travel depending on the needs of the program or event
Partner with key program stakeholders and teammates to develop and execute signature program events in both virtual and in-person capacity (Onboarding Experience Weeks Graduation etc.) This may involve flexible working hours and travel depending on the needs of the program or event.
Manage delivery of all performance management cycles and activities for program associates in partnership with local Line Of Business (LOB) teams including education communications and tracking
Handle intake for escalated associated issues manage upkeep of issue tracker and serve as on-first POC for associate issues
Lead the development and implementation of engagement strategies to help build a community that leads to retention of top talent and strengthens Capital Ones brand
Engage with leaders across the company to ensure positive experience for the programs associates

Basic Qualifications:

Associates degree or military experience
At least 2 years of Human Resources OR project management OR process management OR program management experience or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in human resources or at least 3 years of consulting or a combination
At least 1 year of experience interpreting metrics and trends
Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
Proficient knowledge of PowerPoint or Google Slides
Proficient knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
Strong communication skills with varying levels of leaders and associates
Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change
Proven problem solving analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements
Willingness to work flexible hours due to varying needs within the program
High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean VA: $86300 - $98400 for Sr. HR Associate

Richmond VA: $78400 - $89500 for Sr. HR Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
