What Youll Do Join our innovative and dynamic People Technology engineering team as a Staff Software this role you will play an important role in developing and implementing digital solutions that solve mission critical business problems in supporting Walmart associates. Your projects will make a significant impact be scalable and drive Walmarts modernization efforts in the People Technology organization. Specifically lead the design development and implementation of scalable software solutions within People Tech Well Being. This role requires expertise in analyzing requirements driving technical architecture and ensuring code quality and security. The engineer will collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality products support continuous integration and deployment and address performance and defect management. By applying advanced technical knowledge and guiding best practices this position contributes to innovative reliable and efficient software systems that meet evolving organizational needs and industry standards.
What Youll Bring

• Proven expertise in requirement and scoping analysis including risk and cost analysis aligned with business objectives.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture distributed systems scalability and design patterns.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as JavaScript Python Java or C and experience with relevant frameworks and platforms.
• Experience in driving secure scalable and maintainable code development adhering to coding standards.
• Ability to design detailed solutions from high-level designs and contribute to agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing strategies automation tools and defect management processes.
• Competence in monitoring program metrics CI/CD processes and troubleshooting application performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $110000.00 - $220000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
