Schedule: Part-Time MondayFriday (with travel to nearby centers in Manhattan)
Pay: $25$28 per hour
- Design and teach interactive Mandarin lessons that promote listening speaking and cultural awareness.
- Incorporate songs stories movement and games to make learning engaging and age-appropriate.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate Mandarin into daily activities and curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with families and children to encourage enthusiasm for language learning.
- Track and communicate childrens progress to parents and leadership.
- Maintain a safe organized and welcoming learning environment.
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Early Childhood Education or Language Education preferred.
- Experience teaching or working with children in a school childcare or enrichment setting.
- Strong communication creativity and classroom management skills.
- Must be willing to travel between nearby centers within Manhattans Upper West Side.
