Job Description Summary
The focus of this position is to build and test a Raspberry-Pi based multispectral imaging camera system (PiMICS). Students will design and print a 3D camera model that can hold a Raspberry Pi single board computer attached to a high-resolution camera. The Pi will control both light emitting diodes as well as a set of high quality bandpass filters to gain spectral information about various objects. The students will be expected to code in Python to control the LEDs camera motors and perform image analysis. Student are expected to then perform original research with their newly built cameras either in collaboration with Food Science or in medicine.
Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
Be in pursuit of a mathematics scientific or engineering degree at Chapman.
