The individual will focus on developing the long-term roadmap assessing new technologies and shaping strategic direction to enable Delta Dentals data-driven transformation.

Job Description:
This role is critical to advancing enterprise-wide analytics at Delta Dental. The Expert Technical Specialist will partner closely with data architecture data engineering and business analytics teams to identify and implement machine learning (ML) use cases that address real-world business challenges.

The position sits within Delta DentalsData & Analytics Center of Excellence which is responsible for executing the companys Enterprise Data & Analytics strategyfostering a data-driven culture governing data assets and enabling impactful business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage deep expertise inDataiku(and Azure ML) to support business data scientists in defining developing tuning and deploying ML models.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to data scientists and development teams on ML best practices from ideation to deployment.
• Serve as anAdvanced Analytics Product Owner: identify and prioritize new ML use cases track progress and risks and coordinate resolution efforts.
• Drive thought leadership on Advanced Analytics governance including ethical and legal guidelines.
• Build validate and implement predictive models in support of strategic initiatives or AI/ML proof-of-concepts; clearly present findings to stakeholders.
• Analyze current data-related processes and lead process improvement initiatives.
