Whats The Job
The Production Supervisor will oversee and optimize daily packaging operations to ensure quality efficiency and safety within our production facilities. This role is responsible for leading a team of packaging associates managing workflows and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain compliance with food safety standards productivity goals and company values. The Production Supervisor will play a key role in developing people driving continuous improvement and maintaining a positive team-oriented culture.

Schedule: Monday Friday with flexibility to support production needs including overtime or weekends as required.

What Youll Be Doing Stop Scanning and Read This Part
  • Supervise day-to-day packaging operations ensuring safety efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead coach and develop team members through training feedback and performance reviews.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
  • Create strong cross-functional relationships to support smooth facility operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment ensuring adherence to company standards and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor and prioritize workflow and staffing to meet production deadlines.
  • Establish and communicate daily weekly and monthly objectives.
  • Oversee safe use of equipment and coordinate scheduled maintenance.
  • Track and report packaging performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Detect issues in efficiency quality or safety and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with food safety and quality teams to ensure compliance with SQF GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure and promote food safety throughout the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What Youve Done And Who You Are
  • 2 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within packaging or manufacturing.
  • High school diploma required bachelors degree in business engineering or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a results-driven approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sharp focus on production accuracy safety and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with production reporting tools a plus.
  • Flexible to work long hours as required to meet production needs.
  • Ability to partner and influence at all levels.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment willing to roll up their sleeves and collaborate across teams.
  • Adept at coaching motivating and developing people to their fullest potential.
  • A relentless drive to get things done.
  • Flexible quick to learn new processes technology and ways of thinking.

Physical Demands
  • Frequent walking throughout the facility (warehouse and production areas).
  • Frequent bending and squatting including moving product.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to food ingredients and potential food allergens.
  • Work performed inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Speaking: constant communication across departments and with team members.
  • You must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards.
  • You must be able to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards.
