The Role

The Finance Manager will play a central role in the finance function owning all financial reporting including monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts. Accuracy completeness and timeliness are essential. The role requires a qualified accountant with strong technical grounding and a background in audit ideally with exposure to high-volume retail or e-commerce clients.

This is a hands-on high-visibility role in a fast-scaling environment offering significant opportunity for growth and progression.

Where Youll Make An Impact

Own the production of monthly management accounts including P&L balance sheet and cash flow reporting with insightful commentary.

Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts under UK GAAP and manage the full external audit process from end to end.

Ensure the accuracy integrity and timeliness of all financial reporting maintaining best-in-class standards across the finance function.

Strengthen financial controls accounting processes and reporting accuracy.

Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to inform business decisions.

Maintain and optimise Xero ensuring a clean and well-structured chart of accounts.

Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations Growth and Commercial) to ensure financial clarity and control.

Identify and implement process automation to drive efficiency and scalability.

What Youll Bring

ACA ACCA or equivalent qualification.

Strong experience in financial reporting and preparation of statutory accounts.

Experience in audit (Big 4 or top-tier firm preferred).

Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.

Proven track record of delivering accurate timely financial reporting.

Proficiency in Xero (or equivalent) and advanced Excel/financial modelling skills.

A hands-on self-starting attitude with a focus on excellence and improvement.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience in e-commerce retail or fast-growth consumer goods environments.

Exposure to cash flow management and financial forecasting.
