Multimodality Technologist- CT (Day Shift) Location: McKinney TX 75071
Shift: Sunday-Tuesday 7:00am -7:30pm

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
The Multimodality Technologist under the general supervision of a Radiologist performs imaging procedures in two or more modalities with at least 50% of duties focused in an advanced discipline such as CT MRI Nuclear Medicine or Interventional Radiology. The technologist is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic images for ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider in accordance with established protocols and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in assigned modalities (CT and X-ray required).
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients and proper use of imaging equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic results.
- Verify physician orders review patient history and ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required following safety guidelines.
- Perform quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment in optimal working condition.
- Accurately document all procedures patient information and imaging data in the radiology system.
- Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Comply with all regulatory safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of CT and X-ray experience required.
Certification / Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Must obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT): Must be licensed by the Texas (unless modality is MRI or Ultrasound).
- ARRT or Equivalent Certification: Must be certified in two imaging modalities - one being an advanced modality. Approved certifications include:
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)
- ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
- ARRT-M (Mammography)
- ARRT-N (Nuclear Medicine)
- ARRT-S (Sonography)
- ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiography)
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
- RDMS (Abdomen OB/GYN Breast Pediatric Fetal Echocardiography)
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
- ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
