Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (PRN) will provide professional nursing care during the night shift (11:00 PM 7:00 AM) on an as needed (PRN) basis. The nurse will assess plan deliver and evaluate patient care in accordance with policy procedure professional practice standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of patients physiologic psychological and cognitive condition.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on assessments physician orders and best practices.
Coordinate nursing care with physicians other healthcare professionals ancillary services patient and family.
Provide safe administration of medications and treatments monitoring for adverse effects or complications.
Monitor record and report changes in patient condition vital signs lab data and response to interventions.
Evaluate patient outcomes revise plan of care as needed and document appropriately.
Ensure infection control patient safety and adherence to institutional policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing).
Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Strong clinical critical thinking and communication skills.
