About the Role:
We are seeking a Mid Senior Level AI Research Engineer / Data Scientist with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to join our advanced AI research and development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building fine-tuning and optimizing large-scale language models and driving innovation across NLP and data-driven AI applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design train and fine-tune LLMs and transformer-based models for various business use cases.
- Conduct AI research experiments and translate cutting-edge findings into production-ready solutions.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines feature engineering and model evaluation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering product and data teams) to integrate models into scalable systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP LLMs multimodal AI and deep learning frameworks.
- Publish research papers whitepapers or internal documentation showcasing innovation and thought leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science Data Science Artificial Intelligence or related field.
- 5 years of experience in AI/ML or Data Science with a focus on NLP and deep learning.
- Proven experience with LLMs (GPT LLaMA Claude Falcon Mistral etc.) transformer architectures and fine-tuning frameworks (LoRA PEFT RLHF).
- Strong proficiency in Python PyTorch or TensorFlow and NLP libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience in prompt engineering model evaluation and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms data structures and statistics.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools like MLflow Kubeflow or Vertex AI is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with multimodal AI retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or vector databases (Pinecone FAISS Milvus).
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications in top-tier AI conferences/journals.
- Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
