Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler I (Shipping) to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This contractor role runs through the end of the year with potential for extension based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Label pack and load items for shipment according to specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Process outbound orders and inbound receipts accurately.
Unload delivery vehicles and move materials to designated areas.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents in compliance with internal procedures.
Keep accurate records of all shipped and received items.
Calculate surface volume weight and dimensions of packages or components as needed.
Report customer feedback and trends of dissatisfaction to management promptly.
Answer calls operate office machines and computers as required for documentation.
Generate accurate and timely reports as requested by management or customers.
Support various tasks in shipping and receiving as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 1 year of shipping or warehouse experience.
Computer literate and comfortable with basic software tools.
Intermediate math skills for measurement and calculation.
