Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a passionate and professional Assistant Spa Manager to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Constantia. The ideal candidate will support the Spa Manager in ensuring an exceptional guest experience and maintaining the spas reputation as a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Guest Experience & Operations
Uphold the spas reputation as a sanctuary through exceptional service presentation and professionalism.
Ensure smooth coordination of bookings treatment consultations and guest flow.
Respond promptly and empathetically to guest enquiries preferences and feedback.
Prepare reception for shift handovers and ensure guest materials are readily available.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness safety and hygiene throughout the spa.
Oversee accurate billing and cash handling procedures.
Sales & Revenue Management
Drive treatment programme and retail revenue through strategic scheduling and effective upselling.
Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
Identify opportunities to enhance revenue through promotions and retail initiatives.
Monitor retail stock levels manage inventory and adjust par levels based on demand.
Record turn-away business and returning guests to support future planning.
Leadership & Personnel Management
Foster a positive accountable and growth-oriented team culture.
Train mentor and support spa receptionists and therapists in their professional development.
Prepare duty rosters aligned with operational demands and staff wellbeing.
Conduct onboarding appraisals and performance management in line with brand standards.
Duty Management
Act as Duty Manager when required ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Lead daily briefings to communicate goals guest expectations and performance updates.
Represent the spa at interdepartmental meetings maintaining focus on guest care and service standards.
Handle guest issues with discretion and professionalism to maintain trust and satisfaction.
Health Safety & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Deliver regular safety training and uphold all legal and ethical obligations.
Identify potential risks and address them proactively to ensure a safe and serene environment for both guests and staff.
