About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with strong expertise in networking technologies to join our Platform Engineering team. This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-functional environment where you will design develop and maintain software solutions to support infrastructure engineering projects. You will play a key role in enhancing the performance reliability and automation of the firms technology platforms.

Responsibilities

Design develop and implement software solutions to support infrastructure and networking projects.

Research and evaluate emerging technologies to identify suitable solutions.

Drive projects across the entire lifecycle from requirements gathering to delivery.

Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to design implement and manage network automation infrastructure.

Provide tier 2/3 operational support resolving application and production issues within defined timelines.

Develop support and maintain automations to help network engineers perform tasks more efficiently.

Upgrade optimize and redesign existing infrastructure to improve performance stability and scalability.

Enhance observability configurability supportability and reliability across enterprise technology environments.

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of software development experience preferably in the networking domain.

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Proficiency in Python Java Golang or similar programming languages.

Hands-on experience with enterprise software development stacks and frameworks.

Proven experience in designing and implementing secure reliable and performant network automation systems.

Strong Linux troubleshooting skills with experience using diagnostic tools.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including the TCP/IP stack.

Exceptional analytical debugging and problem-solving abilities.
