Job Description
Sr. Account:
-
Review and supervise the work handled by the junior accountant.
-
Take leadership & guide the junior accounting team.
o By regularly cross-checking the Jr. Accountants case of repeated errors schedule the training for the Jr accountant.
o In case of any query related to software accounting work or any issues related to the tasks.
o Take feedback from client as and when required.

Thoroughly cross-checked all the reports and MIS submitted by the Jr. Accountant.
-
All government-related compliances should be filled within the specific timeline
o GST filling
o TDS Payment & Filling
o ITR

Maintain the positive loop between the client & accounting team
-
Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
-
Cross-check accurate data entry in decided software.
-
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
-
Reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger account balances preparing financial statements and assessing internal controls including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.

Performing monthly balance sheet income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
-
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending Provide technical support and advice on accountant management of the parties.

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
-
Point out the problem to the management if it arises inside the team or from the clients perspective despite your best efforts.

Do not leave any issues or grievances unattended.

Secures financial information by completing database backups.

Online tax payments in coordination with top management.

Maintain an excel sheet to keep up with the day-to-day activities.

Managing team and being responsible for their performance at work

Filling up proxy if someone is absent.

Regular & timely reporting to the management.

Any other work is given by the top management.
