Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SeniorDevOps Engineerwitha strong focus on ReleaseManagement to join our sophisticated technology this critical role you will be instrumental in architecting implementing and maintaining robust automated releasepipelines that ensure the efficient reliable and secure delivery of software applications across The Carlyle Group. You will bridge the gap betweendevelopment operations and business needs driving continuous improvement in our releaseprocesses and fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

ReleasePipeline Architecture & Management: Design build and maintain scalable automated CI/CD pipelines for various applications ensuring seamless integration testing and deployment.
Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical leadership mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams onDevOps and releasemanagement best practices.
Compliance & Security:Ensure all releaseprocesses adhere to industry best practices internal standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Integrate security best practices into the releasepipeline (DevSecOps).
Troubleshooting & Incident Response: Lead the effort in troubleshooting and resolving complex deployment and release-related issues minimizing downtime and impact on end-users.
Risk Management & Mitigation:Proactively identify assess and mitigate release-related and implement effective contingency and rollback strategies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5-10 years of progressive experience inDevOps Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or ReleaseEngineering.
Proven track record of designing implementing and managing complex CI/CD pipelines.
Extensiveexperience in releasemanagement methodologies and best practices.
Experience workingwithin financial services or highly regulated environments is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

CI/CD Tools: ExpertisewithJenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions AzureDevOps or similar platforms.
Cloud Platforms: ProficientwithAWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Containerization & Orchestration: Strong experiencewithDocker and Kubernetes.
IaC & Configuration Management: Hands-on experiencewithTerraform Ansible Chef or Puppet.
Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash PowerShell.
Version Control: Deep understanding of Git and branching strategies (e.g. Gitflow).
Monitoring & Logging: Experiencewithtools like Prometheus Grafana Datadog Splunk ELK Stack.
Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows.
Security: FamiliaritywithDevSecOps principles and tools.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
