Role Overview
We are seeking a Guidewire Developer with hands-on expertise in Guidewire Policy Center Java and DevOps CI/CD practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency in Guidewires ecosystem and a deep understanding of rating pricing configurations and integration best practices within the Commercial Insurance Domain.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance solutions within Guidewire Policy Center using Gosu Java and SQL.

Configure and maintain rating and pricing logic within the Policy Center.

Work with the rating engine to implement and optimize insurance product pricing.

Participate in the design development and integration of Guidewire applications with external systems.

Ensure high-quality deliverables through continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across business QA and infrastructure.

Participate in Guidewire Cloud deployment processes and follow best practices for scalability and reliability.

Conduct troubleshooting root cause analysis and performance optimization.

Maintain proper documentation for code configurations and deployment procedures.
Required Skills

Strong experience in Java Gosu (Guidewire proprietary language) and SQL.

Solid understanding of Guidewire data model rules and integration technologies.

Hands-on experience in Guidewire Policy Center development and configuration.

Familiarity with web technologies - HTML CSS JavaScript and REST APIs.

Practical knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Guidewire Cloud deployment.

Excellent analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.

Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

Attention to detail and ownership mindset.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Commercial Insurance Domain.
