Duties and Responsibilities:
The GI Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for assessing diagnosing identifying outcomes planning implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients. Additionally the GI Surgery RN role includes directing and supervising nursing care for patients in the gastroenterology setting.
