Job Summary
Logistics Engineer
Job description:
- Planning and improving logistics processes
- Improving prototype production and the continuous flow of pre-production material contributing to the layout of production facilities and processes
- Collaborating in the implementation of customer changes
- Ensuring that material supply meets project and prototype requirements and minimum stock levels
- Reconciling customer recall production capacity and material availability and initiating corrective action in the event of non-conformance
- Responsibility for Warehouses and storage positions calculation of warehouse capacities
- Taking responsibility for correct inventory in production settings producing reports that assess plan capacity and identify areas for improvement
- Preparation of data for the logistics budget for the following year
- Participation in the management of handling equipment and calculation of handling equipment capacities (fork-lifts MXX)
- Developing designs for pre-production/serial packaging for internal and external use for RM / WIP / FG
Requirements for the position:
- 3 - 5 years experience within a manufacturing environment
- Must have robust working knowledge of MRP based systems
- Logistics or supply chain technical qualification prefered
- Is highly numeric analytical and with sound attention to detail
- Understands BoMs Routings and Item Master Set up in an ERP system
- Solid organizational time and project management skills
- Takes initiative manages complexity and is decisive
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- University/technical degree min. 2 years
- Excellence PC skills MS office AutoCAD Vistable
- ENG language B2
