TheGascoyne Plant is a leading supplier of Leonardite to industrial and consumer markets globally.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-consciousMaintenance Millwrightto join our maintenance this role you will be responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Install align dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems and components to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.

OE/Lean:

Support and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by applying OE/Lean principles to daily work identifying waste and participating in problem-solving initiatives

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• High school diploma or equivalent; Millwright certification or apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical/Electrical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic and conveyor systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read write speak and understand English.

Working Conditions:

Work Hours:
8-12 hour work days 5-6 days a week depending on demand

Wage: Depending on Experience

Safety:

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings training sessions and hazard assessments.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions near misses and incidents promptly.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety standards.
