As a Locum CRNA you will play a crucial role in delivering anesthesia care to patients collaborating closely with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and provide patient education
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
- Stay updated with best practices and advancements in anesthesiology
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Nurse Anesthetist certification
- 3 years of experience in anesthesia practice
- Strong clinical skills in administering various types of anesthesia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in patient assessment and monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of current anesthetic techniques and medications
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Beeper call shifts available
Patient Census: 8 per shift
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
