As a Distribution Strategy VP on the Branch Distribution Analytics Team youll lead a team of data analytics professionals advancing an analytic framework to drive Chases branch and ATM location strategy. Youll leverage your experience in strategy and analytics and your platform to drive key investments in our distribution network. Your broad exposure to leaders within the Consumer Bank including Real Estate Finance Data and Analytics and Corporate Strategy will require you to provide executive consultation and influence across the organization.
Your primary focus areas will be:
Branch and ATM network location strategy
Competitive reporting and retail deposit share trends
Customer behavior tracking and branch engagement
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee Branch and ATM network distribution strategy including market planning and prioritization branch optimization activity (new builds consolidations relocations and re-developments) and competitive analytics.
Builds strong presentations and data visualizations that effectively convey analytical findings and recommended actions in such a way that effectively influences senior executives.
Maintains industry leading knowledge of analytic techniques particularly as applicable to financial services demography and retail network planning. Leverages this knowledge to coach junior data scientists and tackle complex problems
Effectively prioritizes and delivers a portfolio of high impact initiatives while organizing resources to meet commitments that deliver maximum business value.
Partners closely with business customers to identify impactful projects influence key decisions with data and ensure client satisfaction.
When necessary performs complex and impactful analysis work personally.
Delivers scalable and sustainable new analytic capabilities that unlock value and support ongoing management of key business levers.
Leads local data strategy initiatives including sourcing of new data identification and adoption of new tools integration into necessary analytic platforms
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
5 years of industry experience in either strategy finance business analytics or other quantitative roles (e.g. marketing analytics sales analytics risk analytics business insights) including leadership of complex projects.
2 years of experience managing strategy finance analysis or data science teams.
MS degree in an analytical field (e.g. Statistics Economics Applied Math Operations Research Physics and Data Science) or business degree / MBA with an extensive track record as an analytics practitioner.
Experience navigating complex matrixed organizations responsible for supporting multiple key stakeholders.
Direct experience and the ability to provide coaching for a range of modern data science analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Python R Hadoop Spark Alteryx ESRI SAS SQL)
Preferred qualificationscapabilities and skills:
Prior financial services management consulting or corporate strategy experience preferred.
