Summary
Seeking an Outside Machinist with 1 year of marine or related experience. This role installs vessel machinery using blueprints and tools including work with air controls and tubing.
Must-Haves
- 1 year marine or related experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of system start-up propulsion alignment and machinery
- Experience with tools (calipers micrometers chain falls torch)
- Reliable and safety-focused
Preferred
- Welding experience
- Air controls and tubing bending knowledge
- Familiarity with marine standards
Responsibilities
- Install vessel machinery
- Read and follow technical drawings
- Perform system alignment and testing
- Assist with air controls and tubing
- Maintain safety standards
