Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Lisbon - hybrid

Contract type: Full-time

About the Role

Our client a leading company in the field of engineering and energy systems is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.

This role requires a professional with a strong innovation mindset ownership and a proactive hands-on attitude. Youll play a key role in the design integration and implementation of advanced electrical systems supporting projects focused on energy efficiency and smart technologies.

Design develop and integrate electrical systems and panels.
Lead on-site installations commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
Perform site surveys and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams on energy and IoT-based projects.
Support hardware integration with firmware or embedded systems.
Mentor and support junior engineers promoting a culture of technical excellence.
Prepare technical documentation reports and testing protocols.

Requirements

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical or energy systems.
Proven experience with electrical panels hardware integration and on-site installations.
Familiarity with energy management systems and IoT architectures (Modbus MQTT).
Understanding of commissioning and standard field procedures.
Basic knowledge of firmware or embedded systems (a plus).
Experience in mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
