Job Description: to know how to apply patches manually or automatically using tools such as Windows Update (For Manual Patching) WSUS (In depth) Patch deployment through SCCM (Package creation with windows updates Phased deployment ADR)
to know how to identify evaluate and prioritize patches based on their impact urgency and compati-bility.
to be able to document and communicate patch information such as sources versions dependencies and risks. You also need to be able to collaborate with other system administrators.
to read Splunk / Qualys scan report to collect and analyze patch data such as patch status compliance vulnerabilities and incidents
. need to be able to di-agnose and resolve patch problems quickly and accurately using tools such as Event Viewer or PowerShell
to have experience of working in ServiceNow ( Change Service re-quests) with best practice as per ITIL guidelines.
Knowledge of Active directory Users and Computers (Type of Groups and their scopes Adding Computers to a group AD user roles)
