The Opportunity
Recovery Works Healing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Group Counselor to facilitate Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) groups at our West Carrollton location. This role focuses exclusively on group facilitation and clinical documentation related to those sessions.
What Youll Do
Facilitate TBS and PHP group sessions using established evidence-based curricula.
Foster a supportive recovery-oriented group environment that aligns with trauma-informed care principles.
Complete accurate timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and state standards.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote client engagement and treatment progression.
Requirements
Schedule and Availability
Must be able to work in-person at our West Carrollton facility.
Must facilitate a minimum of three (3) hours of groups per day starting at 9:00 am.
Flexible scheduling beyond the required hours additional availability is strongly preferred.
Part-time position with potential for additional hours as program needs expand.
Qualifications
Current/Active LCDC II required; LCDC III LICDC or LICDC-CS preferred.
Bachelors or Masters degree in counseling social work psychology or a related behavioral health field.
Experience facilitating both TBS and PHP group curricula required.
Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) proficiency.
Compassionate trauma-informed approach to client care.
