Key responsibilities

Loading and unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload materials and products from trucks.
Equipment operation: Use equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks to move sort and stage items.
Load securing: Securely fasten Steel to prevent damage during transit.
Shipment verification: Verify the contents of shipments against paperwork inspect items for quality and report any discrepancies or damage.
Inventory management: Scan and log inventory update records and maintain accurate inventory counts.
Safety compliance: Follow all safety regulations and procedures participate in safety training and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills and qualifications

Physical requirements: Physical strength stamina and agility to handle heavy loads.
Technical skills: Experience operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is often required or preferred.
Attention to detail: Ability to accurately verify contents and maintain detailed records.
Communication skills: Good communication skills for interacting with team members.

Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
