Raytheon Industry 4.0 - Smart Digital Factory and Automation (SDF&A) has an immediate career-growth opportunity for an enthusiastic highly motivated and innovative Sr Software Systems Engineer team member to join our a Digital Factory developer you will be a key contributor to design development integration testing and deployment of advanced IIoT / Industry 4.0 technologies based in this role will perform root cause corrective action (RCCA) for any hardware and software issues identified in the SDF&A products in the manufacturing factory while supporting data analytics and data visualization efforts. The role will work in close collaboration with digital factory engineering chief engineers / architects front end of the business and SDF&A / factory leadership and will include all aspects of the product development lifecycle - planning requirements design development test deployment and sustainment.

Raytheon Innovators Advanced Manufacturing: You Will Do

• Lead and execute projects involving Ignition application development.
• Contribute to IIoT continued growth and deployment by working with sensors gateways connectivity solutions APIs and data analytic platforms.
• Provide recommendations and execution on methods to connect manufacturing equipment to IIoT/OT layer network
• Set communication protocols and network configurations on network devices (EIP Modbus/TCP MQTT etc).
• Contribute to major team projects as well as work with minimal oversight to solve complex problems supporting SDF&A Engineering Systems.
• Analyze and correlate large complex data sets; support digital thread implementation; develop and execute analytics reports and visualization toolsets while ensuring data integrity.
• Expected to Travel 10% of the time.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
• to include significant Ignition SCADA development using combination of tools such as: SQL Python C#/.NET HTML5 JSON.
• Extensive knowledge of scripting and dashboarding.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 key concepts connectivity data collection IIoT systems integration AI machine learning ISA-95 Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Azure DevOps services framework.
• Experience building APIs and creating web applications.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance and who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience using industrial communication protocols such as Modbus/TCP MQTT EIP SECS/GEM etc.
• Experience with data analytics with skills that demonstrate ability to prepare process analyze and visualize significant amounts of information from multiple data sources.
• Excellent communication skills working with teams of varying expertise.
• Experience engaging stakeholders across technical and business domains
• Strong communication project management and collaboration skills; experience working across organization boundaries.
• Ignition gold certification or willingness to achieve within first year.
• Experience with Splunk! PowerBI GraphQL Tableau SQL Server SAP Eyelit Windows Task Scheduler Automation SQL Server job agent automation SQL Server SSIS.
• Experience with big data and data mining.
• Experience in distributed controls cyber security IT infrastructure integration or other related fields.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
• Understanding of automation systems (robots vision systems PLCs etc.) deployment and integration.

  The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
