Job Summary

NWOESC- School Nurse- Part Time (1 day per week needed)

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be licensed and in good standing with the State of Ohio Board of Nursing to practice as a registered nurse (RN degree required) and possess a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university. The candidate must also have current CPR and First Aid Certification. Candidate must have or be able to obtain Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License or Registration or School Nurse.

DESCRIPTION: The School Nurse will provide health care for students Preschool through Grade 12. The School Nurse will assess school health and safety status; assist in the implementation of health and safety processes and procedures; maintain student immunization health records and other necessary records; complete various screenings (i.e. vision hearing); and serve as a resource to the school districts regarding health-related issues in an educational setting. The School Nurse may monitor other health aides/workers in the districts as assigned.

LOCATION: Ayersville Local Schools (Defiance County)

CONTRACT: Per the 2025-26 school calendar - begins immediately

SALARY: Per salary schedule based on experience

BENEFITS: Paid sick leave and personal days. Health dental vision and life insurance are available if working over 25 hours/week. Membership in the SERS retirement system
