Give life to the centrally driven design tool strategy. Lead the regional Power User community through clearly defined objectives. Provide the team with clear objectives and information necessary to accomplish the agreed goals.
Set up plans for the short-term activities and long-term developments.
Lead the sub-regional implementation of design digitalization initiatives in close collaboration with team managers and in coordination with divisional resources.
Promote and embed standardized ways of working aligned with divisional D&I function.
Drive continuous improvement of design processes governance and documentation to increase efficiency and output quality.
Support the upskilling of the local design community through training and learning initiatives.
Adapt and further develop training materials according to specific needs from the region
Monitoring Design Tool KPIs and creating action plans
Actively maintain a good communication between Regional SMI Team Design Tool Specialists Network Pack Right Centres and other Design Departments in the region and across DS Smith network.
Being an active member of the European Design Tool Network where representing EE region providing guidance and insight into the broader management of the team.
Collect feedback from designers to improve usability and adoption of tools and ways of working.
Mentor and drive the team by setting expectations inspire support and provide feedback.
Main tasks:
Develop and operate an effective design tool support network in East Europe Region
Coordinate design tool developments testing and deployments across the region specifically OneA Artios Enterprise CAD Web Centre application
Collaborate with central team and other respective stakeholders on CRM Design Modul development and implementation
Monitor design tool usage prepare regular KPI reports identify gaps in operations and proactively propose solutions
Participate in other regional initiatives targeting improvements in customer collaboration creative co-creation sessions product innovation and other community building activities
Key skills needed:
University Degree (IT Business and/or Packaging Engineering)
Comprehensive knowledge of DS Smith Design Tool portfolio (Artios CAD CAPE PACK OneA Adobe CC Other 3D Application VR & AR)
Project Management experience
Ability to organise and lead Internal Workshops & Trainings.
Understands the importance and impact of Design & Innovation
Understanding customer and market requirements - commercial awareness and market insight (How Tools can support realizing our commercial strategy)
Effective communicator with including presentation skills.
Listens to others asks questions and able to articulate own views clearly. Understand that different audiences require different styles of communication.
Ability to define clear objectives and to monitor progresses in a systematic manner
Experience from working in global organization
Good command of written and spoken English
