What Youll Be Doing

• Lead the design process end-to-end from understanding user needs to crafting delightful intuitive experiences.
• Turn complex system challenges into clear elegant and human-centered design solutions.
• Apply design thinking and data-informed insights to solve real problems for hoteliers operators and travelers.
• Communicate your ideas visually and clearly from low-fidelity sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with product managers engineers and fellow designers to shape new features and improve existing ones.
• Conduct and analyze user research and usability testing to validate and iterate on designs.
• Advocate for the user asking the right questions challenging assumptions and balancing business goals with user needs.
• Continuously evolve as a designer while helping elevate the design culture at Apaleo.

What Youll Bring

• 5 years of experience in product design (UI/UX) for web and mobile ideally in SaaS or platform products.
• A strong grasp of user-centered design principles user research and usability testing.
• Strategic thinking you understand the why behind design decisions and how they impact the business.
• A portfolio that showcases your design process problem-solving skills and sense of visual clarity.
• You are on top of everything AI related you use AI to boost your workflows and you understand the challenges of building an AI product
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you know how to bring people along with your ideas.
• Business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Curiosity empathy and a willingness to step into both the travelers and the hoteliers shoes.
