What you get to do:
- Enthusiastically represents the organization by displaying a positive attitude and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job
- Help educate park guests school groups camp participants and private groups about the animalsin residence
- Conduct informative and engaging animal presentations on microphone behind the scenes tours VIP experiences sleepovers camp and student programs
- Act as department trainer for new staff
- Coordinate specialty projects such as curriculum development staff training or community outreach programs
- Evaluate entry level staff on interpretive skills
- Prepare organize and maintain all education program materials for assigned areas of responsibility
- Fulfill primary responsibilities of all preceding job descriptions and perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years old
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Demonstrate high quality guest service and interpretation skills
- Valid state drivers license
- Previous experience training and developing staff preferred
- Able to successfully complete all legal company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
- Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need to include opening mid- and closing shifts nights weekends and holidays
- Able to follow all park and departmental policies and procedures
- Willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines safety and employment standards

- Able to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Able to lift push and pull 25 pounds
- Able to work in all weather conditions
