About the Role
The Communications and Media Lead play a key role in shaping and amplifying Parkervilles voice across internal and external platforms. Working closely with leaders and teams across the organisation this role delivers clear consistent and strategic communications that strengthen brand awareness support advocacy and build genuine engagement with funders people and communities.
A central focus of this role is values-led storytelling identifying and bringing to life the impact of Parkervilles work and sharing the voices and strengths of the children young people and families we support. Youll research write and produce a wide range of content including impact stories media releases op-eds thought leadership articles speeches newsletters event communications and major publications such as the annual report. Youll also proactively manage media opportunities responding to requests and shaping narratives that elevate Parkervilles profile.
In this role youll ensure all communications align with Parkervilles strategic objectives brand narrative and advocacy priorities. Youll support internal engagement through staff communications and resource development and use media monitoring and audience insights to measure impact and inform future strategies.
About you
You bring creativity clarity and purpose to your communication with a strong ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences. Youll have tertiary qualifications in Communications Public Relations Journalism or a related field or equivalent experience gained through at least five years in a similar role. You have a track record of building positive relationships with media identifying proactive opportunities to share stories and developing engaging multi-channel communication strategies that connect with people and communities.

Manager
