Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and detailed-oriented Construciton Cost Estimator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans specifications and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- General project oversight & project administration
- Compiling accurate budgets & scopes of work on new & existing projects
- developing & maintaining customer relationships
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor materials equipment and subcontractor services.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare bid packages and participate in bid reviews and presentations.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure estimates reflect current conditions.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cost Estimator in the construction industry (3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and building codes.
- Proficiency in estimating software
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field preferred.
$28-4$40/Hr. BOE
