BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
Reporting directly to Head of the Freight Control Unit (FCU) and Chief Shipping as 2nd level Supervisor the incumbent shall perform the following tasks in liaison/consultation with concerned Shipping staff.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the integration of Wings/Less data in Dots with Transport Management System (TMS) to capture TMS key data and key operational details
2. Analyze Shipping Data in detail and produce and/or refine reports based on requirements gathered and/or end user feedback received from Shipping/Country Offices and Regional Bureaus & lead implementation/testing.
3. Continue building and refining Quality Assurance reports by supporting the conversion/automation of the same as well as streamline KPI baseline and performance measurement system in DOTS.
4. Perform reporting function as required especially for corporate exigencies such as emergencies special projects e.g. BPR and Track & Trace.
5. Finalize validation of Shipping Datasets including reports that are generated from a combination of Shipping specific Dataset and other relevant corporate datasets in DOTS such as batch history GCMF data etc.
6. Contribute to process overview documentation and update process flows as necessary.
7. Analyze and document Shipping data and processes in detail and recommend actions/decisions to support the adoption of new Transport Management System platform and overall readiness for EDI/API connections.
8. Contribute to the development and improvement of the Carbon Accounting System for shipping emissions.
9. Any other related task as required.

DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:
1. Integrated reporting capabilities Food/NFI/Value/Tonnage/Operational details/Batch Information/Insurance information/GCMF key data.
2. Produce twofold automated Data Quality Assurance reports to ensure a. Dots data integrity and b. Operational alerts based on agreed KPIs.
3. . Refine and finalize documentation and workflows regarding rational and logic of Shipping Datasets.
4. Shipping data and processes analyzed and implemented in DOTS are documented to support and contribute to the successful implementation of SCD projects.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education:
First University degree with relevant logistics qualifications and/or additional logistics experience in Supply Chain Procurement freight forwarding and/or shipping operations or other relevant disciplines.
Experience:
3 to 4 years of post-graduate professional experience or equivalent in project process and performance management in Supply Chain disciplines and/or projects.
Knowledge & Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP-based applications and reporting platforms such as Palantir/Foundry Oracle & Tableau.
Experience in cargo tracking and working with transport management systems in Logistics Execution and stock management.
Experience in business process mapping and end-user support for major system implementations.
Experience in developing coordinating and supporting the delivery of new systems tools and analystical products both in the field and HQ including through on-line media.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Power Point Excel Word and Projects Access).
Languages:
Fluency (level C) in English language.
