Job Summary
N-iX Game & VR Studio is a team of 100 professionals delivering top-quality games game assets and VR solutions to various game and media enterprises and startups. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior 3D Artist to work remotely in-house or on a freelance basis to deliver great-looking realistic 3D characters for AAA games of different genres.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of realistic characters/creatures
- Match the required art style of a project
- Cooperate with other artists to streamline the art creation process
- Work with the team lead to create a plan and schedule
Required Skills:
- Strong sculpting modeling and texturing skills
- Ability to follow and correctly interpret the concept
- Strong knowledge of anatomy color shape scale silhouette proportion
- Good understanding of character topology for animation
- Strong knowledge of 3dsMax/Maya/Blender ZBrush Photoshop Marvelous Designer Substance Painter Marmoset Toolbag
- Ability to create realistic hair with cards
- Understanding of technical limitations and art pipelines for the photoreal character creation
- Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills
- Good organization time management problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with the game development cycle
As a plus:
- Ability to create and texture a 3D model from an image or description
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 Unity
- Ability to communicate in English
- Experience with the AAA production pipeline
- Passion for games
