We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead sales and manage key accounts across the Southern U.S. (NM TX OK AR and LA). This role is responsible for driving growth developing customer relationships and managing channel partners in the region.
This is a remote position based in Texas (DFW Metroplex Austin Houston or San Antonio metro area) with regular travel to customer sites industry events and the companys headquarters. The ideal candidate is a motivated technically adept sales professional with experience selling complex industrial and electrical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales efforts across accounts developing the territory and meeting revenue goals.
- Build and manage relationships with customers and distributors providing consultative solutions and ensuring long-term value.
- Identify growth opportunities secure product approvals and implement strategic initiatives to expand regional market share.
- Deliver high-quality service throughout the sales cycle by coordinating with internal teams to support quoting order fulfillment and issue resolution.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and support cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Maintain timely reporting and communicate market insights to inform regional strategy.
- Represent the company at customer visits trade events and internal meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required; technical or engineering focus preferred.
- Strong track record selling complex products to industrial or utility customers (experience with electric utilities is a plus).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven and results-oriented with strong organizational skills and a consultative data-informed sales approach.
- Excellent interpersonal presentation and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM platforms Concur and virtual meeting tools.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the region (25% overnight) with occasional travel to HQ or events.
