THE ROLE

Our site inSan Luis Obispo CAis seeking a/anManufacturing Co-Opto join our team for theSpring 2026season. This assignment is intended to be6 monthsin duration.

What Youll Do

Evaluate and measure process performance

Identify root causes of poor process performance

Prove the causes & develop countermeasures to mitigate causes

Implement mitigating actions promptly & check if the mitigations worked

Standardize the improvements

Understanding of Processes and Controls

Mechanical aptitude

People and teamwork-oriented

Problem-solving skills

Some knowledge of data analysis

Ability to work with others for a common outcome

Manufacturing Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Process Engineering

Industrial Engineering

Graduation date of Spring 2026 or later

Eligibility

Must be a currently enrolled student

Available to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.

Must be familiar with the universitys requirements to participate in a co-op program

Compensation: $20-$26 per hour with actual pay dependent on the candidates overall skills for the role
