Job Summary

Our Region that covers the Melbourne CBD and Darebin City area is looking for a passionate Mobile Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.

This is a Full Time opportunity offering 38 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. You will be based out of one service but will regularly work across the Region to support services who require assistance. Your operating hours on Mondays to Fridays will flexible and you will coordinate your times between regular session times ranging from:
- 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program)
- 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Stay and Play Program)
- Admin Hours in between

About the role

Leading a team of Educator and other Coordinators you will assist the Regional Manager in managing the services in your Region who provide an OSHC program at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. Youll have the support of a state specific office support department structures and a Regional Manager who will be leading and collaborating with you. 

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who are we looking for

We can teach you about the job and sector but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with kids
  • Strong and clear communication
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
  • Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
  • Australian work rights
