As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team youll design build and maintain secure reliable and scalable cloud services that power our global authentication and authorization systems. Youll contribute to the technical direction of key projects write high-quality code and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Youll play a key role in building distributed systems solving complex technical problems and ensuring that our IAM services meet the highest standards for performance security and operational excellence.
NOTE: THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED ONSITE AT OUR NASHVILLE TN LOCATION. NO EXCEPTIONS. RELOCATION MAY BE PROVIDED.
Basic Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of software development experience
- Strong programming skills in Java Go C# or other object-oriented languages
- Experience delivering high-scale distributed services in a production environment
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure networking and system design
- Strong debugging problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating mission-critical Tier-1 live services
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as OCI AWS Azure etc.
- Knowledge of multi-region deployments and multi-AD/AZ architectures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker Kubernetes etc.
- Experience translating internal customer needs into prioritized features
- Experience with monitoring observability and operational best practices.
- Understanding of system security authentication protocols and compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP PCI DSS).

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Software Developer you will:
- Develop and maintain cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) services that are secure reliable and scalable.
- Implement new features and enhancements based on design specifications and collaborate with senior engineers to refine technical approaches.
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code in languages such as Java Go or C#.
- Participate in code reviews testing and troubleshooting helping to ensure high-quality releases and strong service reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners (product management security and operations) to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Support operational excellence by contributing to monitoring alerting and incident response for the services you build.
- Continuously learn and grow by staying up to date with modern cloud security and development best practices.
