R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. Its the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem.
We are looking for a Operations Support Engineer with proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline management AWS infrastructure support and automation and production application support. The person will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery robust cloud infrastructure and reliable application performance.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD using GitLab & Jenkins
- Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Automate build test and deployment processes for multiple environments.
- AWS Infrastructure & Automation
- Manage and support AWS infrastructure.
- Create automation scripts and tools using Python.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation (CFT) and AWS CDK for provisioning and scaling resources.
- Application Support (with Mandatory CloudWatch Monitoring)
- Provide Level 2/3 support for production applications.
- Monitor application health using AWS CloudWatch including creating and maintaining CloudWatch Log Insights queries for advanced analysis and troubleshooting.
- Respond to alerts perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience building and managing pipelines with GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services with automation using Python and Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
- Proven ability to monitor troubleshoot and support production applications with experience in AWS CloudWatch monitoring and strong skills in creating CloudWatch Log Insights queries for debugging.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to ML operations building Agentic AI for operations
- Familiarity with additional logging/monitoring tools (ELK Prometheus/Grafana).
- Broader Application Support experience across multiple platforms or large-scale environments.
- Exposure to IoT (Internet of things)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum practices.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
