Naumi Auckland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the hotel facilities are in top condition. Just minutes from the International and Domestic airports Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport offers 193 designer nests (rooms) a restaurant & bar pool gym and over 2500sqm of event space.

With an established team you will be responsible for planning coordinating and supervising all maintenance activities from preventative maintenance to urgent repairs while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

What will you do..

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations across all hotel areas including guest rooms back-of-house and public spaces
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Manage train and mentor the maintenance team promoting a culture of safety efficiency and excellence
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure minimal disruption to guest experience
  • Monitor maintenance budgets stock levels and equipment lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory requirements

Who you are..

  • Proven experience in hotel or facility maintenance management preferably in large properties
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical skills across electrical plumbing HVAC and building systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent maintenance situations efficiently
  • Knowledge of NZ building codes health and safety regulations
  • Understanding of WorkSafe NZ regulations and knowledge of PPE for daily tasks
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
