Job Summary
WHATS THE JOB
We are seeking a professional and organized Cleaning Supervisor for a fixed-term position in Petawawa Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations managing staff and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning staff assigning tasks and schedules
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
- Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
- Prepare reports on cleaning operations and staff performance
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques equipment and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Proficiency in creating and managing schedules
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the cleaning industry
- Experience with inventory management and budget control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; cleaning industry certifications preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Physical stamina to perform occasional cleaning tasks and equipment demonstrations
