Airbus Helicoptersis looking for aSystem / SW Engineer forSimulation(f/m)to join our simulation department based inMarignane France.

You will be part of a team developingmodular simulation systems and simulators for all helicopter programs. With these systems we deliver simulation capabilities for various internal and external customers.

As part of thesystem simulation team you will be involved inthe mission to deliver simulation systems for a given helicopteraiming at

Validation of new helicopter concepts using simulations and simulators
Participation to the development of full flight simulators cockpit procedure trainers and other simulation training devices
Support of helicopter embedded system and software tests with simulation as an enabler or test environment
Many other applications in research and development

Your challenges:

Developdifferent system and sub-system simulations according to the helicopter configurations and their evolutions
Integrate the global helicopter simulation and/or the helicopter simulator and assure simulation product maturity
Verification of global configuration match between system simulations and reference helicopters
Contribute to the exploitation of the potential of simulations e.g. in different simulators and helicopter system test facilities

Your profile:

Engineering degree in aerospace engineering or similar
Experience in system integration and test
Experience in software engineering preferably on real time/embedded software. Software development (c/c)
Knowledge of helicopter systems and architectures
Passion for helicopters their functions and missions and in particular interest for all that happens in the cockpit
Ability to work in a team with a highly international environment
Good communication skills especially in English

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
